Dr. Joel E. Borkow
Attended medical school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he graduated in 1973. He continued on with his residency in general surgery at Millard Filmore Hospital State University of New York at Buffalo affiliated hospitals from 1973-1976. He ultimately completed his schooling at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, where he finished his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in 1978.
Dr. Borkow is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Borkow is head of the department of plastic surgery at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and currently belongs to the following professional societies that include: American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Cambria County Medical Society, American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Ohio Valley Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Robert H. Ivy Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, Lipoplasty Society of North America, Eastern Association of the Surgery of Trauma, and is a Fellow of American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Justine Roberts, PA-C
A graduate of the Physician Assistant program at Saint Francis University, Justine holds a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Science, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, and the American College of Phlebology. In addition to plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery, her practice includes varicose veins, spider veins, wrinkle management (Botox and Juvederm products), and Latisse.
Justine enjoys running, cross country skiing, watching college sports and spending time with friends and family.

A Pittsburgh native, Chip was on active duty with the United States Air force from 1981-1990. Upon leaving active duty, he joined the Air Force Reserves and attended Saint Francis School of Professional Nursing, graduating in 1993. Chip worked initially at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh in the Surgical Trauma intensive care unit. While working, he completed his bachelor degree in Nursing at Clarion University in 1995, graduating Magna Cum Lada. Chip was accepted into the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia program in 1996 and graduated in 1998 with a Masters in Nursing Anesthesia. He has practiced anesthesia in Pennsylvania and Florida. Chip is still active in the Air Force Reserve as a practicing Nurse Anesthetist and holds the rank of Major.
He is married to Susan E. Brownlee of Johnstown and has three children, Andrew, Thomas, and Olivia. He enjoys wine making, tending to a small grape vineyard and motorcycle touring.
Dr. Daniel Nevarre Dr.
Nevarre completed his plastic surgery training at Harvard, and he is a
West Point Graduate. He is board certified by the American Society of
Plastic Surgery. Dr. Nevarre is a member of the American College of
Phlebology.
Dr.
Nevarre is from Portage, PA and wanted to practice in the area so he
could give back to the community in which he grew up. He treats
patients as if they were members of his family. Based on his training
and desire for perfection, he believes he provides the best care that a
person could get anywhere. Dr. Nevarre enjoys spending time with his
wife and his three dogs, and working on his farm.
